Spec of Brass Automatic Pressure Differential Regulator valve
Advantages of Automatic Pressure Differential Regulator
Pressure Differential Regulator maintains a constant pressure differential at a set value between two points in a hydraulic circuit. It is used in heating, heating-cooling supply systems, and buildings of any type. The ability to adjust the differential pressure at pre-determined design flow rates prevents noise generation and high flow velocities in the system.
Operating Principle:
The balancing valve regulates the design flow rate through the action of a specially configured shut-off mechanism. The supply pressure is transmitted to the upper surface of the diaphragm via a connecting capillary tube, while the return pressure is transmitted to the lower surface of the diaphragm through an internal connecting channel on the actuator stem. The force generated by the pressure differential on the diaphragm pushes the shut-off stem, closing the fluid passage on the return side of the circuit until the diaphragm's pushing force and the opposing force of the return spring reach equilibrium at the pre-set up value.
Adjustment:
The adjustment values are indicated on the valve's scale located on the cover. If necessary, the adjustment values can be modified. To regulate the flow capacity, use the provided nomograms. According to the nomogram or adjustment table, set the scale value (ranging from 5 to 30 kPa) by rotating the handle.
