The Brass Ball Valve for Gas NR-B002 is engineered exclusively for gas systems, delivering safe, precise flow control for natural gas, propane, and other non-corrosive gases. Its nickel-plated brass body resists corrosion from gas and environmental moisture, while a durable brass ball (with chrome plating) ensures smooth operation and tight sealing—critical for preventing gas leaks. Available in 2-piece or 3-piece designs, the NR-B002 fits pipes from 1/2” to 2” and uses threaded (BSP/NPT) connections for easy installation. Compliant with EN12165, EN13828, BS21, and BSEN13828-2003 standards, this valve is 100% tested for gas tightness, making it a trusted choice for homes, commercial kitchens, and industrial gas lines.
Unlike general-purpose valves, the NR-B002 is designed to handle gas pressure and chemistry. It features a tight-sealing ball mechanism that prevents gas leakage—even at low pressures—and is tested to meet strict gas safety regulations (including EN331 for gas valve performance).
The valve’s body is nickel-plated to protect against corrosion from gas byproducts (e.g., moisture in natural gas) and outdoor elements. This ensures the valve remains leak-free and operational for years, reducing the risk of gas-related hazards.
The brass ball’s smooth rotation allows users to fine-tune gas flow, making the NR-B002 suitable for applications that require consistent pressure—such as residential furnaces, commercial stoves, or industrial gas burners.
The valve comes with either a steel or iron handle (depending on the model) that provides a firm grip for easy on/off adjustments. The handle is reinforced to withstand frequent use, preventing breakage that could lead to uncontrolled gas flow.
The NR-B002 is used in:
• Residential Gas Lines: Controlling flow to furnaces, water heaters, stoves, and outdoor grills, allowing homeowners to shut off gas during repairs or emergencies.
• Commercial Kitchens: Regulating gas to ovens, grills, and fryers in restaurants, where reliable gas flow is essential for food preparation.
• Industrial Facilities: Managing gas supply to manufacturing equipment (e.g., metal fabrication machines) or heating systems, ensuring safe, efficient operation.
• Propane Tanks: Connecting propane tanks to RVs, camping stoves, or outdoor heaters, providing a secure shut-off point for transport or storage.
It is compatible with natural gas, propane (LPG), butane, and other non-corrosive, non-toxic gases. Do not use it with hazardous or corrosive gases (e.g., chlorine or ammonia).
The valve operates safely between -20°C to 120°C (-4°F to 248°F), covering most indoor and outdoor gas system conditions.
We recommend quarterly inspections: apply a soapy water solution to the valve’s connections and body. If bubbles form, there is a leak—turn off the gas supply immediately and replace the valve or tighten the connections (by a licensed gas technician).
