The iron base is made from durable cast iron meeting ASTM A48 Class 25(25000 PSI Tensile strength),the upper body is made from plastic and the lid is plastic with locking mechanism which can prevent unauthorized removal that could create a safety hazard. Our meter box provides automatic spacing and alignment for the meter,which can be inserted at any time during or after the installation of the meter box.The inlet,outlet and expansion connection are made from lead free bronze meeting AWWA Standard C800.
